Here's time for joy, because I bought me a new camera *dances around frantically*. It isn't actually new, but second hand. I obtained it via the dutch website 'marktplaats'. Happily it functions really well and I can hopefully take some great shots with it. Now the camera I bought is a Nikon D40. It has been out of shops for a while now here, but for me I think it's a good camera to start of my single-lens reflex period. To me it has a lof of options even though it is already a little dated. I like it that it isn't a very heavy camera either. A 18-55 mm kit lens went with the camera, so for now I'm all set to take some quality pictures. It will probably take some time before I get to know my new camera really well, so any tips and tricks you have are very welcome! I hope to achieve the best results as possible with this camera.
